Government Polytechnic hostel established in the year 1960 in a sprawling THREE acres of space – with two seperate buildings for student accommodation and one block for mess.
There are 90 rooms for accommodation – each room can accomodate 04 students – summing the total capacity to 360 Students.
Hostel is well maintained with 15 members of supporting staff and 03 Deputy wardens and One Warden to take care of day to day affairs.
The occupancy details for the past THREE years – for the academic year 2021-23 there were 243 students for the year 2022-23 there were 345 students and for the present academic year 2023-24 there are 350 students.
To take care of students illness the hostel has a sick room and every fortnight a doctor visits the College campus to address the student health issues.
